Clarence Carter - The Feeling Is Right - Atlantic
Carter nació ciego comenzó su carrera con el también compañero ciego Calvin Scott en 1960 cuando se unieron como "Calvin y Clarence" para el Fairlane etiqueta. Unos pocos lanzamientos seguidos, pero ninguno ganó más de un poco de radio. Los registros, sin embargo, tomar de Fairlane de la Fama Músculo Shoals etiqueta. Uno de sus emisiones Fama "Paso A Paso" fue recogido por el Atlántico Atco filial, con lo que conectar el dúo con la etiqueta. Pero después de mal accidente de coche los dos cayeron a lo largo de las facturas médicas, Calvino fue gravemente herido y tuvo que ser hospitalizado por un tiempo. Esto hizo que en Clarence ir como artista en solitario y que ha demostrado ser un buen movimiento. Más conocido por "escapar" y "parches" Clarence Carter domina el arte de slyly cantado baladas y temas midtempo, todos con un fuerte sentir sur. "La sensación es la derecha" es un ejemplo perfecto de eso.
Barbara Lynn - I´m A Good Woman - Tribe
Barbara Lynn nació en Texas Özen 1942 es realmente una mujer que rompió el molde cuando se trata a las mujeres artistas en la década de 1960. No sólo canto, también escribió algunas de sus canciones (incluida la 1962 R & B hit) "Te Suelto Una buena idea", y tocaba la guitarra, algo que era muy raro que las mujeres en el momento. Principalmente la grabación de su material de Nueva Orleans que exuda con el sur de alma sabor. Ya sea sincero baladas como "Te Suelto Una buena idea", "Este es el i Gracias Obtener" Uptempo o los temas como "Soy una buena mujer" o "Tomar su amor y Ejecutar" Barbara Lynn siempre añade su propia contacto a las grabaciones, total o confindence, pero vulnerables. Retirarse de la música para criar a sus hijos (nombre de un artista masculino que han hecho), regresó a finales de los años ochenta en la etiqueta Ichiban y viajar a lugares como Japón gran éxito.
